The Asprey London Silver Workshop is recruiting for a Master Silversmith to train, support, and develop an apprentice as well as provide support and guidance for the wider workshop team. Our Silversmiths are responsible for producing items of exceptional standard in both precious and non-precious metals for Retail, Corporate and Export.
Responsibilities:
- To produce and assemble items, to the required exceptional standard, in precious and non-precious metals.
- To repair items, to the required exceptional standard, in precious and non-precious metals.
- Train and develop an apprentice as well as provide support and guidance for the wider silver workshop team.
- Liaise with polishers, gilders, and the management team to ensure production deadlines are met and any issues or delays are communicated.
- To ensure all tools and equipment are effectively maintained, the workshop is tidy, and safety procedures are followed.
- Ensure effective use of materials and minimise any waste.
- Support in the quotation for future work.
- Manage the day to day workflow of the team.
