Role Description

This is a full-time field sales role for a Business Development Manager based in Lancashire (a must). The successful candidate will be a self-starter and take ownership of identifying and developing new business opportunities, cultivating strong relationships with clients and partners, and driving the company's growth strategy.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting market research and identifying new areas of business development across Lancashire.
  • Creating a sales plan and taking ownership of its implementation.
  • Identifying, approaching, and onboarding new referral partners, including insurance brokers, letting agents, property professionals, and emergency contractors.
  • Managing relationships with referral partners end-to-end and developing lasting relationships.
  • Positioning the brand as the ‘go to’ loss assessor within Lancashire.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to ensure good customer outcomes.
  • Communicating with key stakeholders across the organisation.

Success in this role will be measured by the growth of the Lancashire branch, the strength of local partnerships, and the consistent generation of quality claim referrals. The role requires proactive engagement in networking events and industry activities to expand Aspray's reach and influence. Experience of working with Brokers, Letting Agents, and Emergency contractors would be useful.

Qualifications:

  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Proven experience in business development, sales strategy, and relationship management.
  • Proficiency in market research, business analysis, and evaluating growth opportunities.
  • Experience in the property, insurance, or claims management sector is a significant advantage.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Exceptional organisational, problem-solving, and time management skills.
  • Valid Driving Licence.
