About the Role

As Head of Product Design at Aspora, you’ll lead and scale the design function responsible for delivering a world-class experience across our international fintech platform. You’ll shape the future of our product experience — combining strategic vision with hands‑on design execution. This role is ideal for a design leader who thrives at the intersection of craft, systems thinking, and team leadership.

You’ll guide a team of talented designers while remaining deeply involved in the product work yourself — roughly 60% individual contribution and 40% leadership and management. You’ll partner closely with Product, Engineering, and Growth leadership to align design direction with business goals and customer needs in a fast‑paced, evolving environment.

What You Will Own

• Lead and scale the Product Design function — from hiring and mentoring designers to defining team culture and design operations.

• Drive the design vision and strategy for Aspora’s platform, ensuring cohesive, human‑centered experiences across mobile (iOS/Android) and web.

• Collaborate cross‑functionally with Product and Engineering leaders to define product direction, shape new features, and ensure design excellence from concept to launch.

• Evolve and maintain Aspora’s design system to balance speed, scalability, and brand consistency.

• Champion user‑centered design, leading research initiatives, usability testing, and design critiques to continuously improve user experience.

• Uphold and elevate design quality, ensuring best practices in accessibility, interaction design, and visual craft.

Who You Are

• 8+ years of experience in product design, with at least 2 years in a lead or management capacity.

• Proven track record of building, leading, and growing high‑performing design teams.

• Strong end‑to‑end design skills, from user research and UX flows to high‑fidelity UI and prototyping (Figma or equivalent).

• Deep understanding of design systems, responsive design, and modern UX principles.

• Skilled at balancing strategy and execution — able to zoom out for long‑term design vision and zoom in to deliver pixel‑perfect experiences.

• Excellent collaborator and communicator, able to influence stakeholders across disciplines.

• Thrives in ambiguous, fast‑moving environments with a bias toward action and ownership.
