Your Role
You will be responsible for operating an estates store, ensuring a smooth and efficient supply of parts, equipment, furniture, and fittings to maintenance teams in line with contractual response times. You will be acting as a key point of contact, communicating effectively with maintenance teams and resolving queries promptly. You will be responsible for purchasing, stock replenishment, and maintaining accurate inventory records, including regular stock takes. You will be ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, including the management of hazardous substances and adherence to risk assessments. You will be handling goods in, storage, and picking of items, ensuring accuracy, quality control, and safe working practices at all times. You will be maintaining a clean, organised, and compliant working environment while completing documentation, audits, and reporting incidents as required.
What We’re Looking For
- Qualifications: GCSEs in Maths and English and a full, clean UK driving licence.
- Experience: Experience within a maintenance or logistics environment, with a good understanding of inventory control, stock procedures, administrative processes, and health and safety practices, alongside strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail, accuracy in handling stock, ability to interpret product codes, effective teamwork, organisation, adaptability, and ability to work independently while following procedures.
