Join Our Team as a MULTISKILLED B&CE at Aspire Defence Service Limited (ADSL).

Salary: £33,000 per annum plus company vehicle, tools provided, uniform etc.

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, no weekends.

Location: Larkhill.

Your Role:

Duties will include, amongst others, painting and decorating, basic plumbing, basic carpentry and general maintenance duties. Assist workforce including bricklayers, carpenters, painters, electricians and other building trade artisans in executing reactive remedial repairs and general building works as directed by their supervisor. To include as an accompanying safety person when required on operation of mechanical height access equipment. Ensure acceptable standards of productivity and workmanship are maintained in the execution of work. Where appropriate supervise and direct subcontractors in the delivery of Reactive and PPM tasking. Ensure the recording of all maintenance works when completed are posted through the appropriate equipment, systems and documentation as required by the Company Management System.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Qualifications: Hold a C&G 6217 qualification – a multi-skills course or equivalent. Have diverse experience within the BC & E field, along with Industrial, Commercial, Domestic building services experience.
  • Experience: Proven experience of working as a Multi-trade Engineer, with an understanding and working knowledge of other disciplines within a multitask delivery service. Along with knowledge of safe systems of work.
  • Skills: Works independently and efficiently, following specifications and managing materials. Takes responsibility for job completion and supervision when needed. Proactive, customer focused, and proactive with strong problem solving, decision making and communication skills, maintaining professionalism and discretion.
  • Driving Licence: Full UK valid driving licence required.
  • Security clearance: A MoD Security clearance is required.
