Your Role:
You will prepare detailed and compliant scopes of work from surveys, site visits and technical information to support change projects, lifecycle works and the Asset Management Plan. You will carry out feasibility studies and provide advice on building services, health and safety requirements, energy efficiency and carbon reduction initiatives. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure designs comply with relevant standards and deliver value for money solutions. You will support estimating activities, review technical documentation, completion certificates and contractor submissions, and assess the quality of completed works. You will witness and report on testing and commissioning activities across mechanical, electrical, heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems, identifying any deficiencies. You will prepare assets and documentation for handover and attend technical meetings to support successful project delivery.
What We’re Looking For:
Qualifications: You will be educated to a minimum City and Guilds or Ordinary National Certificate level, or equivalent, in a relevant discipline, preferably supported by professional membership such as the Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers. You must have, or be eligible to obtain, Ministry of Defence security clearance.
Experience: You will have experience of mechanical and electrical systems, building regulations, construction design and management requirements, surveying activities, scope development, pricing works and reviewing contractor quotations to ensure value for money.
Skills: You will be able to analyse technical survey data, communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders, produce clear written scopes of work, support commissioning activities and deliver high quality customer focused outcomes.
