Your Role
You will be supporting the delivery of planned and reactive maintenance activities across the Garrison whilst completing a Level 3 Plumbing & Domestic Heating Technician Apprenticeship. You will be working safely at all times in line with health and safety legislation, policies and procedures. You will be assisting with plumbing, mechanical repairs, maintenance and installation work to the required standard under supervision. You will be maintaining accurate records of completed work using company systems and documentation. You will be working collaboratively within a team to deliver an efficient and effective service to customers and stakeholders. You will be attending college as required and completing coursework in line with apprenticeship programme requirements.
What We're Looking For
- Qualifications: GCSEs at Grade 4/C or equivalent inclusive of English and Maths, and a full UK driving licence or the ability to obtain one when of appropriate age.
- Experience: Basic IT skills and comfort using systems, apps or digital tools to support daily tasks and record work.
- Skills: Strong teamwork and communication skills, a customer‑focused and positive attitude, initiative, problem‑solving ability, willingness to learn and develop technical skills, professionalism and organisation.
- Additional Requirements: Ability to travel one day per week to Activate Learning’s Reading / Guildford campus; Security clearance is required prior to starting with us.

Demonstrates commitment to both the practical and academic elements of an apprenticeship programme.
