Aspired Talent are recruiting on behalf of our client in Warrington for Production / Installer Operatives to join their busy manufacturing team. This is a fantastic temp - perm opportunity, with a 5 week stay at Wimbledon in the coming months to support the event set up. The role is split between factory-based manufacturing during the off-season and on-site installation work during the tournament season.

Role Purpose

To support the manufacture, cleaning, repair, installation, and removal of tennis court covers and associated equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect and repair damaged covers
  • Assist with cutting, finishing, wrapping, and dispatch prep
  • Record activity in Factory Master
  • Maintain housekeeping and 5S standards
  • Install and remove tennis court covers and accessories
  • Load, transport, and unload equipment safely
  • Work outdoors in varying conditions
  • Represent the company professionally onsite

Health, Safety & Quality

  • Follow risk assessments and SOPs
  • Use PPE and comply with safety procedures
  • Report hazards and defects
  • Maintain quality standards

Teamwork & Communication

  • Work independently when required; liaise with Planning, QA, and Sewing teams; support training of new starters.

Skills, Experience & Qualifications

Essential

  • Manufacturing or labouring experience
  • Strong health & safety awareness
  • Team player with flexible approach
  • Able to work unsupervised after training
  • Full UK driving licence with clean record

Desirable

  • PVC / canvas / textile experience
  • Welding equipment experience
  • FLT or pallet truck licence
  • Experience working away from home

Qualifications

GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English preferred. Manual Handling and basic Health & Safety training (company provided).

Physical & Environmental Requirements

On-your-feet role with regular lifting, pushing/pulling (with aids). Work around moving machinery, vacuum beds, and cutting blades (all safety guards and interlocks in place). Occasional overtime and shift flexibility as needed to meet demand.

Training & Progression

Structured onboarding with SOPs, product/material training, and machine certification. Opportunity to progress into permanent roles based on performance.
