Aspired Talent is currently recruiting a Packing Operative for our client based in Chorley. This is a temporary to permanent opportunity, with a review after 12 weeks and the chance to upskill and progress within the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Packing finished foam parts, rubber components, and gaskets into boxes ready for dispatch
  • Counting and checking quantities
  • Adding labels when required
  • De-pipping foam parts (removing waste/cut-outs)
  • General assistance within the production area

Working Hours

  • Monday – Thursday: 8:00am – 5:00pm
  • Friday: 8:00am – 4:00pm
  • Breaks: 10 minutes (morning), 30 minutes (lunch), 10 minutes (afternoon)

Pay

£12.74 per hour. Pay rate to be reviewed in October 2026.

Candidate Requirements

  • Previous packing experience preferred
  • Good communication skills
  • Reliable and keen to learn
  • Able to commute to Chorley

Progression & Training

There is room for progression, with opportunities to learn and upskill in other production areas if required. Plastic welding training available. No previous skills required. Full training provided. Salary increases available as skills develop.
