Aspired Talent are currently looking for an experienced CNC Machinist with Turning experience to join a busy manufacturing environment in Manchester.
We are looking for a skilled CNC machinist(Turner) who is confident programming, setting and operating CNC turning machines, with hands-on experience using Fanuc controls.
The Role
As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for:
Programming, setting and operating CNC turning machines.
Working with Fanuc-controlled CNC machines.
Reading and interpreting detailed engineering drawings.
Selecting and setting the appropriate tooling and cutting parameters.
Producing components to required specifications and tight tolerances.
Inspecting finished components to ensure quality standards are met.
Making adjustments to programs, tooling and machine settings where required.
Maintaining a safe, clean and organised working environment.
Following company quality, health & safety and production procedures.
About You
The successful candidate will have:
Proven experience as a CNC Turner / CNC Machinist.
Strong experience with CNC turning.
Experience programming, setting and operating CNC machines.
Experience using Fanuc controls.
The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
Good understanding of machining processes, tooling and tolerances.
Excellent attention to detail and a quality-focused approach.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
An apprenticeship or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering would be advantageous but is not essential for the right candidate. xohmjla

Monday Thursday: 6:00am 2:30pm
Friday: 6:00am 1:30pm
