Aspired Talent is recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Operative to join our client in Warrington (WA5). This is an excellent opportunity to secure a long-term role with a growing business, with a permanent contract offered after successfully completing 12 weeks through the agency.

Working in a clean, organised warehouse, you will play a key role in ensuring goods are received, stored and dispatched accurately while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Pay Rates

  • £13.00 per hour (without an FLT licence)
  • £13.50 per hour (with a valid Counterbalance FLT licence)

Working Hours

  • Monday to Friday 8:00am – 4:30pm
  • No weekends

Key Responsibilities

  • Goods receiving, checking and inspection
  • Picking, packing and dispatch of customer orders
  • Stock control, inventory management and cycle counting
  • Stock reconciliation and maintaining accurate records
  • Safe manual handling of products
  • Maintaining warehouse organisation and housekeeping (5S)
  • Coordinating shipments and courier collections
  • Using warehouse systems and basic computer software
  • Following health and safety procedures at all times

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Previous warehouse experience
  • Goods receiving, picking, packing and dispatch
  • Stock control and inventory management
  • Cycle counting and stock reconciliation
  • Good attention to detail and accuracy
  • Basic computer literacy
  • Understanding of warehouse health and safety
  • Reliable with a positive attitude and strong work ethic

Desirable Experience

  • ERP or Warehouse Management Systems
  • Barcode scanners and labelling systems
  • Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Teams
  • FIFO stock rotation
  • Batch and serial number traceability
  • Accurate documentation and record keeping
  • Following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Good Distribution Practice (GDP)
  • ISO 13485 or other ISO quality standards
  • Experience within medical devices, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, aerospace or electronics industries
  • Continuous Improvement (Lean or 5S)
  • Basic quality inspection skills

Desirable Qualification

  • Valid Counterbalance FLT Licence
