Aspired talent are looking for a Warehouse Operative with an FLT Counterbalance licence to work for a national company on the day shift working 8am - 5pm Monday to Friday. This is long-term work with the opportunity of securing a permanent position.
Duties:
- This is a hands-on, all-rounder, warehouse and FLT role.
- Your main duties will be general warehouse duties, including picking, packing, lifting with the requirement to drive the FLT trucks at times.
- Receiving goods into the warehouse and stowing pallets.
- Checking the quantity and visual quality of incoming and outgoing goods.
- Unpacking and storing incoming goods.
- Organising stock for deliveries.
- Moving goods around the warehouse as required.
- Adhering to health and safety procedures at all times.
Requirements:
- Candidates must have a minimum of 6 months experience driving a Counterbalance FLT truck.
- Have own transport or be able to get to locations if needed.
- Ideally be able to provide a previous work reference.
- Have good communication skills.
- Be a team player.
Essential skills:
- A valid Counterbalance licence (RTITB or ITSSAR accredited).
- Experience driving and operating a FLT Counterbalance.
- Good communication skills and the ability to multi-task.
- Strong spatial awareness.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Good organisational skills.
- Reliability and self-motivation.
- Flexibility and willingness to take on a variety of tasks.
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Desirable experience:
- Previous experience working in a warehouse environment.
