Aspired Talent are currently looking for an experienced CNC Machinist with Turning experience to join a busy manufacturing environment in Manchester.
We are looking for a skilled CNC machinist (Turner) who is confident programming, setting and operating CNC turning machines, with hands-on experience using Fanuc controls.
The Role
- Programming, setting and operating CNC turning machines.
- Working with Fanuc-controlled CNC machines.
- Reading and interpreting detailed engineering drawings.
- Selecting and setting the appropriate tooling and cutting parameters.
- Producing components to required specifications and tight tolerances.
- Inspecting finished components to ensure quality standards are met.
- Making adjustments to programs, tooling and machine settings where required.
- Maintaining a safe, clean and organised working environment.
- Following company quality, health & safety and production procedures.
About You
- Proven experience as a CNC Turner / CNC Machinist.
- Strong experience with CNC turning.
- Experience programming, setting and operating CNC machines.
- Experience using Fanuc controls.
- The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Good understanding of machining processes, tooling and tolerances.
- Excellent attention to detail and a quality-focused approach.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
An apprenticeship or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering would be advantageous but is not essential for the right candidate.
Working Hours
- Monday - Thursday: 6:00am - 2:30pm
- Friday: 6:00am - 1:30pm
