Hours: Typically 50 hours a week
We are currently recruiting for a reliable and experienced Class 1 (C+E) Night Tramper Driver to join our team on a temp-to-perm basis, based in Tarleton (Preston PR4). This role involves overnight trunking work, delivering to Aldi stores, ensuring timely and safe delivery of goods while maintaining high standards of professionalism and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:- Carry out night trunking deliveries and collections
- Deliver to Aldi stores with self-tip duties required
- Ensure all loads are secured safely and transported efficiently
- Complete relevant paperwork and comply with tachograph and driver hours regulations
- Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any defects
- Maintain excellent communication with transport teams
- Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous tramping experience preferred
- Good understanding of driver hours and regulations
- Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
- Monday to Friday nights: £16.12 per hour
- Saturday nights: £17.16 per hour
- Sunday nights: £18.20 per hour
