Aspired Talent are currently recruiting for Cutting Machine Operators to join a busy and fast-paced manufacturing environment in Accrington, Lancashire. This is a permanent opportunity with full training provided and clear progression in pay once fully trained.

Salary: Starting at £13.06 per hour, increasing to £13.32 per hour once fully trained or £14.64 per hour PAYE Rolled Up

Hours: Full-time, Dayshift

Shift Pattern: 12-hour shifts, Monday to Thursday (7:00am - 7:00pm)

Overtime: Available once fully trained

Job Type: Temporary to Permanent (Contract offered on 12 weeks successful completion with the agency)

Due to an extremely high workload, this is an urgent requirement for reliable and hardworking individuals looking for a long-term opportunity.

Main Duties:

  • Operating a Slitter/Spooler machine
  • Packing products, including wrapping, weighing, and palletising goods
  • Accurately recording data using an in-house computer system
  • Following work instructions and customer specifications
  • Working to a priority list to meet deadlines
  • Meeting and exceeding performance standards in safety, waste, and quality
  • Maintaining a clean and tidy working environment

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Carrying out any other duties as directed by supervisors or management
  • Supporting and engaging in workplace initiatives and projects
  • Understanding and following all relevant procedures

Key Skills & Requirements:

  • Previous machine experience (essential - full training provided)
  • Comfortable with regular manual handling and good manual dexterity
  • Flexible to work days, nights, and weekends if required
  • Numerate and literate
  • Ability to work independently
  • IT literate (desirable)
  • Experience working in a busy factory environment (desirable)
