Job Description

Senior Financial Administrator

London | Office-based

Are you an experienced Financial Administrator looking for a professional Wealth Management environment that still feels personal, friendly and genuinely close-knit?

We’re partnering with an established financial services business to recruit an experienced Senior Financial Administrator for its London office. The business has all the credibility and professionalism you would expect from an established Wealth Management firm, but behind that corporate face is a very personable, down-to-earth team with plenty of personality and a strong family-run feel.

This is a varied, client-focused role for someone with strong Wealth Management or IFA administration experience who wants more than just a transactional support position. Accuracy and service matter, but so does personality, communication and being someone who naturally contributes to a positive team environment.

The Role

  • Act as a key point of support for clients and advisers, handling day-to-day queries, correspondence and administrative follow-up.
  • Manage the administration surrounding client review meetings, from diary coordination and preparation through to post-meeting actions.
  • Support the completion of new business and client onboarding, working with internal stakeholders and external providers to keep cases progressing.
  • Keep client and financial records accurate and up to date across internal systems, including payments, fees, transfers and related activity.
  • Prepare valuations, chase outstanding information and resolve provider queries to help maintain a smooth and responsive client service.
  • Contribute to the wider running of the office and team, with scope to support and guide a more junior administrator where appropriate.

What we’re looking for?

  • At least 4 years’ experience within a Wealth Management, Financial Planning or an IFA environment.
  • Experience supporting Financial Advisers, Wealth Managers or Financial Planners.
  • Knowledge of client reviews, new business and ongoing servicing.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accurate record keeping.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Confidence dealing directly with clients and providers.
  • The ability to organise and prioritise a changing workload independently.
  • Senior Administration or junior team oversight experience would be advantageous.

What’s on offer?

  • Salary up to £45,000, depending on experience.
  • A very generous holiday allowance to support a healthy work-life balance.
  • Performance-related bonus linked to both individual contribution and overall team results.
  • Join a highly experienced, personable Wealth Management team with a close-knit culture.
  • Gain broad exposure across client administration, reviews, new business and ongoing servicing.
  • Further study and examination support available where relevant to your development.

If you’re an experienced Financial Administrator, Wealth Management Administrator or IFA Administrator looking for a role where strong technical administration is valued just as highly as personality and team fit, apply today with your CV to arrange a confidential conversation.
