The Role
- Working within a close-knit team, you'll take ownership of international freight shipments from start to finish across ocean, air and road, including export, import and cross-trade movements.
- Managing FCL and LCL ocean exports from quotation and booking through to final invoicing
- Preparing Bills of Lading, freight and customs documentation.
- Arranging customs clearances, monitoring shipments and providing proactive customer updates
- Preparing quotations and identifying suitable transport solutions.
- Liaising with customers, carriers, hauliers, shippers, consignees and overseas agents.
- Building customer relationships, supporting new client onboarding and contributing ideas as the business grows.
About You
- You'll have at least 2 years' Freight Forwarding experience within a customer-facing operational role, with strong ocean export FCL and LCL experience.
- Confident managing international shipments from start to finish.
- Personable and comfortable picking up the phone and building customer relationships.
- Organised, proactive and highly attentive to detail.
- Someone who takes ownership and delivers on commitments.
- Comfortable with technology and learning new systems.
- Keen to contribute ideas and grow alongside the business.
- Experience across ocean, air, road freight, imports and wider multimodal operations is essential.
