An established and rapidly growing data centre operator is seeking an experienced Juniper Data Centre Engineer to support the migration and configuration of high-performance Juniper infrastructure and associated compute hardware. This is a hands-on engineering role offering the chance to work with cutting-edge networking and GPU technologies in a live production environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and deploying new network configurations for Juniper QFX switches, MX204 routers, 100 Gbps optics, and Mellanox GPU nodes, applying and testing configurations, performing validation, and supporting system go-live. You will also support Ubuntu-based server deployments, including OS installation and network configuration, while maintaining precise documentation covering equipment inventories, cabling maps, serial numbers, and configuration changes.
You need to have strong hands-on experience with Juniper QFX and MX-series platforms in data-centre environments, a solid understanding of 100 Gbps optics, cabling standards, and Layer 2/3 configuration, and be confident using Ubuntu/Linux CLI for setup, configuration, and troubleshooting. Experience with network migration projects and the ability to follow structured change plans accurately are essential. Mellanox/InfiniBand experience is not required, but this position offers rare exposure to GPU-node and high-performance compute environments.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Juniper-focused DC network engineer to expand their experience into HPC-class and GPU infrastructure within a dynamic and fast-growing data-centre organisation.
