We are looking for a proactive and experienced Senior Marketing Executive to lead the planning, promotion, and delivery of a portfolio of B2B events and awards. The successful candidate will work across multiple brands and product areas, ensuring marketing campaigns are executed effectively, audiences are engaged, and sponsorship commitments are delivered.

This role sits within a dedicated Events Marketing function and requires strong collaboration with Marketing, Sales, Operations, and Editorial teams. The ideal candidate will be confident, competent, and capable of taking ownership of campaigns with minimal oversight.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead the planning, creation, and execution of marketing campaigns for multiple events and awards, including email, social media, and website content.
  • Collaborate with event production and operations teams to ensure seamless delivery of events and awards programmes.
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners, including sponsors, speakers, and industry collaborators.
  • Monitor and evaluate campaign performance, testing new approaches to improve engagement and registration metrics.
  • Develop high-quality web pages and marketing assets that reflect brand standards and drive audience engagement.
  • Work from established marketing plans and processes while contributing creative ideas to enhance campaigns.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments to inform campaign strategy.
  • Occasionally travel to event locations as required.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES
  • Proven experience in B2B events and awards marketing, ideally with at least 2 years in a similar role and familiarity with a full annual event cycle.
  • Competent in email marketing platforms (e.g., Pardot, Mailchimp) and content management systems.
  • Experience managing social media channels, particularly LinkedIn, to drive engagement.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present confidently to stakeholders.
  • Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Comfortable collaborating across teams (Marketing, Sales, Operations, Product, Editorial).
  • Proactive, confident, and capable of working independently with minimal guidance.
  • Awards marketing experience is highly desirable; finance industry knowledge is a bonus but not essential.
  • Intellectual curiosity and willingness to learn about the products and sectors you support.
