Maths & English Tutor – Up to £28,000 – Salford – Full-time, Permanent

The Role: We are recruiting for a Maths & English Tutor to deliver engaging and effective Functional Skills and GCSE Maths & English lessons. This role involves supporting learners to achieve their full potential in a dynamic and inclusive learning environment. Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons tailored to learners’ needs.
  • Assess progress and provide personalised feedback to support achievement.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Support learners with additional needs and barriers to learning.
  • Track learner progress and implement interventions when needed.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance teaching practices.
  • Adhere to safeguarding, equality, and health and safety policies.

Requirements / Qualifications

  • Teaching qualifications and experience in Functional Skills and GCSE Maths & English.
  • Ability to engage and motivate learners, including those who are disengaged.
  • Strong organisational and classroom management skills.
  • Experience working in challenging learning environments.
  • Commitment to professional development and teamwork.
  • Flexibility to work across different locations.
  • Due to the nature of this role, you be required to complete a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
