The Role: We are recruiting for a Maths & English Tutor to deliver engaging and effective Functional Skills and GCSE Maths & English lessons. This role involves supporting learners to achieve their full potential in a dynamic and inclusive learning environment. Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high-quality lessons tailored to learners’ needs.
- Assess progress and provide personalised feedback to support achievement.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Support learners with additional needs and barriers to learning.
- Track learner progress and implement interventions when needed.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance teaching practices.
- Adhere to safeguarding, equality, and health and safety policies.
Requirements / Qualifications
- Teaching qualifications and experience in Functional Skills and GCSE Maths & English.
- Ability to engage and motivate learners, including those who are disengaged.
- Strong organisational and classroom management skills.
- Experience working in challenging learning environments.
- Commitment to professional development and teamwork.
- Flexibility to work across different locations.
- Due to the nature of this role, you be required to complete a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
