The Account Manager will be responsible for developing relationships with clients, both existing and new, to maximize magazine sales revenue for the luxury hotel industry magazine.

Responsibilities

  • Attend 6 international trade shows per year in USA and Singapore.
  • Introduce the magazine to food and drink manufacturers and collect leads.
  • Email new leads and send media packs.
  • Use LinkedIn to connect with new leads.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets for the magazine.
  • Generate and develop new business and manage existing database.
  • Liaise externally with clients via email, telephone, social media, and face-to-face meetings at industry events.
  • Report to the Advertising Manager and develop relationships to maximize sales revenue.

Essential Requirements

  • Excellent communication skills for email, telephone, social, and face‐to‐face meetings.
  • Excellent people skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a closely knit team.
  • Ability to work independently and use own initiative.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent sales letter and proposal writing skills.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and good computer literacy.
  • Basic numeracy and literacy skills, educated to GCSE level or above.
