We are looking to recruit a Business Development Manager within our Retail & FMCG team. This is a new business-focused role for a driven individual who is hungry to accelerate growth. What You'll Be Working On
Our team enables some of the largest global brands to drive efficiencies and sell more, through value-driven software solutions and professional consultancy services. You will be working with clients to solve challenges such as:
- Which locations present the greatest revenue and sales uplift opportunity?
- What products or services should be offered in each location?
- What is the optimal size and structure of a store, concession or wholesale network?
- How can excellent in-store execution be achieved and resources focused on high-value locations?
- How do physical assets influence digital channels, and how should this inform overall strategy?
- How can data be used to continuously review, learn and optimise actions to deliver bottom-line growth?
Who You Are
- Results-driven with a professional approach to business development and a strong track record
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Commercially confident and persuasive at senior levels
- Able to uncover and articulate business issues with clarity
- Skilled in defining solutions and mapping them to business goals

- Interest in or knowledge of the property, retail or FMCG sector

- Experience in property, FMCG, retail or residential sectors, or in customer insight
Key Responsibilities
- Generate and develop relationships at a senior level
- Accurately forecast sales and revenue
- Conduct thorough research and develop a strong understanding of client business issues
- Stakeholder triangulation to understand dynamics within target brands
- Pitch relevant solutions clearly and compellingly
- Handle objections and lead commercial and legal negotiations
- Engage with marketing to identify lead generation opportunities from upcoming activities
- Collaborate with internal pre-sales and delivery teams to support meetings, pitches and QBRs
- Build clear plans for achieving goals and targets
