A fast-growing, global events technology company is looking for a commercially driven Sales Manager to take ownership of new business across its exhibition and events software solutions.

This is a high-volume, high-value sales role selling directly into the events ecosystem - specifically to event organisers and exhibition companies who are themselves selling events, stands, and delegate packages.

You will be representing a suite of digital products powering the industry, including:

  • Event websites & microsites
  • Exhibitor manuals
  • Interactive floorplans
  • Mobile event apps & digital event platforms

Key Focus

  • Selling SaaS / tech solutions into the events & exhibition industry
  • Targeting decision-makers in marketing, operations, and event delivery teams
  • Driving new business acquisition across a global portfolio of ~17 events
  • Working the full sales cycle from lead generation to close
  • Building long-term relationships with exhibition organisers and event platforms
  • Representing a new and evolving digital product suite via a newly launched website

Responsibilities

  • Prospect, develop, and close new business within the events/exhibitions sector
  • Set up and lead client meetings, demos, and pitches
  • Own the full sales cycle (lead gen → proposal → negotiation → close)
  • Build strong networks across exhibition organisers and event delivery teams
  • Present and position technical SaaS solutions in a clear, commercial way
  • Work closely with technical teams to shape client solutions
  • Maintain pipeline visibility and report on progress and forecasts
  • Identify upsell and expansion opportunities within accounts

What We're Looking For

  • 2-3+ years' B2B sales experience (ideally SaaS, tech, or events media)
  • Strong exposure to exhibitions / events / live experiences industry preferred
  • Proven track record of hitting and exceeding revenue targets
  • Confident communicator with strong negotiation skills
  • Ability to sell consultatively into senior stakeholders
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-output sales environment
  • Strong network or understanding of the events ecosystem is a bonus

Package & Structure

  • Day rate contract: £200-£250 per day (flexible for exceptional candidates)
  • Performance-based earnings with strong uncapped commission
  • OTE: circa £180,000
  • Contract role (not permanent employment)
  • High autonomy, high expectation, high reward environment
