Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 + 10% bonus + benefits. Fully Remote | UK-based role.

We’re looking for an experienced Product Developer to take ownership of the development, optimisation, compliance, and production of a growing supplements portfolio. This is a hands-on role where you’ll be involved across the full product lifecycle - from early concept through to launch, ongoing improvements, and restocks. You’ll also play a key role in ensuring all products meet strict UK regulatory standards.

What you’ll be doing

  • Product Development
    • Lead NPD projects from concept through to launch
    • Create and develop new product formulas
    • Work closely with manufacturers on sampling and production
    • Use clinical research to support evidence-based formulation decisions
    • Improve and optimise existing products
    • Attend key manufacturing runs and first productions
  • Compliance & Regulatory
    • Write and review compliant pack copy in line with UK regulations
    • Approve product claims, marketing content, and advertising
    • Work with marketing teams to ensure compliant messaging
    • Keep all e-commerce listings accurate and up to date across platforms
  • Quality & Technical
    • Support technical queries from customer service
    • Manage third-party testing (microbiological, heavy metals, nutritional analysis)
    • Maintain supplier QA systems, including GFSI certifications and batch records
    • Review Certificates of Analysis (CoAs) for every production
    • Manage retained samples and flag any quality issues
  • Production & Supply Chain
    • Work with commercial teams on restock planning and forecasting
    • Raise purchase orders and manage production timelines
    • Coordinate supplier collections and logistics
    • Process and track invoices, including supplier payment follow-ups where needed

What we’re looking for

  • 3+ years’ experience in product development or technical roles (ideally supplements)
  • Strong understanding of UK food supplement regulations
  • Experience working with third-party manufacturers
  • Background in start-up or scale-up environments
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects at once
