Are you excited to shape marketing for a busy, fast-growing conference business? We're looking for a Marketing Manager to support delegate acquisition and help grow revenue across a portfolio of important sector events in planning, energy, ports, rail & infrastructure.

With around 20 events a year - ranging from flagship 300-attendee conferences to specialist masterclasses - you'll manage the full marketing mix, from strategy and data to content, email, CRM, social, and paid advertising. You'll also support and develop a Marketing Executive, working alongside sales, digital, and design teams.

What you'll do:

  • Create and deliver multi-channel marketing campaigns that attract delegates and meet targets
  • Manage email marketing, CRM, database building & data-informed reporting
  • Oversee website content and social media (LinkedIn & Twitter)
  • Work closely with sales & partners to increase sponsorship & lead generation
  • Monitor campaign performance and adjust plans as needed
  • Support and develop a Marketing Executive
  • Manage budgets, timelines and post-event reviews

Who you are:

  • Experienced in conference/events marketing, ideally B2B
  • Comfortable with email platforms (Spotler/MailChimp) & CRM tools (Salesforce or similar)
  • Well organised with good data insight skills
  • Skilled communicator and writer
  • Enjoy working collaboratively across teams
  • Motivated and able to manage your own workload

Bonus if you have:

  • Experience with paid digital campaigns or managing agencies
  • Knowledge of marketing automation and PPC
  • Familiarity with Adobe InDesign
