The Role

As a Junior Talent Consultant at Aspire, you will act as a trusted advisor to both candidates and clients, helping match top talent with the right opportunities. You will play a key role in the full recruitment process, from identifying and engaging candidates through to successful placement. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, working in a fast-paced environment and developing expertise within a specialist market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Candidate Sourcing & Engagement
    • Source and attract high-quality candidates through job boards, social media, networking and referrals.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with candidates through personalised communication and regular engagement.
    • Develop and manage a strong talent pipeline within your specialist market.
  • Candidate Screening & Assessment
    • Conduct interviews to assess candidates' experience, skills and cultural fit.
    • Provide guidance and career advice to candidates throughout the recruitment process.
    • Administer assessments or skills evaluations where required.
  • Client Relationship Management
    • Build long‑term relationships with clients, becoming a trusted partner for their hiring needs.
    • Provide insight into market trends, salary benchmarking and talent availability.
    • Write engaging job adverts and candidate profiles to promote client opportunities.
  • Recruitment Process Management
    • Match suitable candidates to open roles and present them to clients.
    • Coordinate interviews, gather feedback and manage communication between clients and candidates.
    • Support offer negotiation and placement processes.
  • Market Research & Insights
    • Stay informed on industry trends, emerging roles and talent market developments.
    • Provide clients with insight and advice on effective hiring strategies.

What We're Looking For

We are looking for someone who is passionate about building relationships and delivering an excellent candidate experience while supporting clients with their hiring needs. You will have:

  • Experience in recruitment, talent acquisition or a similar people-focused role (preferred but not essential).
  • Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organisation and time management abilities.
  • A proactive and relationship-driven mindset.
  • Confidence working in a target-driven environment.
  • The ability to learn quickly, understand business needs and challenge the status quo.
  • Familiarity with recruitment tools, CRM systems or LinkedIn sourcing (desirable).
