We are supporting an established global events business with over 30 years experience delivering large-scale B2B exhibitions across energy, infrastructure, technology and innovation. They are expanding their renewable energy portfolio and hiring a Business Development Manager to support growth across the European market.
About the Event
A leading renewable energy exhibition based in Paris, focused on accelerating clean energy adoption across Europe.
What you'll be doing:
- Own the full 360 sales cycle (from prospecting to close)
- Build relationships with senior stakeholders across Europe
- Sell exhibition space and sponsorship packages
- Deliver tailored proposals in French & English
- Manage pipeline using Salesforce / CRM tools
- Work closely with marketing, operations & conference teams
- Contribute ideas to improve commercial performance
What we're looking for:
- Native French speaker essential
- Strong English communication skills
- 1-2 years experience in sales / BD / recruitment / events / client-facing roles
- Confident communicator with strong negotiation skills
- Comfortable in a target-driven environment
- Organised, resilient, proactive
- Interest in renewable energy or B2B events is a bonus
