The Role
As a Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in building and scaling the brand partnerships function. This is a revenue‑owning, end‑to‑end role, where you’ll be responsible for originating, structuring, and closing partnerships between brands and creators. You’ll work across the full deal lifecycle – from opening doors and pitching, through to negotiation, close, and long‑term relationship management.
Key Responsibilities
- New Business Development
- Identify and secure high‑value partnerships with brands and agencies
- Build and manage a strong pipeline through proactive outreach and networking
- Represent the business at events, meetings, and across industry channels
- Partnership Strategy & Pitching
- Develop creative, creator‑led partnership concepts aligned to brand objectives
- Build compelling proposals, pitch decks, and campaign responses
- Translate audience insights and performance data into commercial narratives
- Closing & Revenue Growth
- Own deals end‑to‑end from first contact through to negotiation and close
- Consistently deliver against revenue targets
- Build long‑term relationships to drive repeat and scalable partnerships
- Commercial Operations
- Maintain accurate pipeline tracking via CRM systems (e.g. HubSpot)
- Continuously refine sales materials, positioning, and case studies
- Use campaign insights to improve future deal performance
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years’ experience in business development, partnerships, or media sales
- Background in media, agency, creator/influencer marketing, or digital partnerships
- Proven track record of hitting and exceeding revenue targets
- Strong understanding of brand partnerships across sport, gaming, lifestyle, or creator ecosystems
- Existing network across brands and/or agencies is highly advantageous
- Confident communicator with strong pitching and negotiation skills
- Highly organised, proactive, and comfortable in a fast‑paced environment
