Overview
We are hiring a Business Development Manager to focus exclusively on new business acquisition within the FMCG sector. This role will target well-known consumer goods brands, selling a SaaS, data-led solution that enables better commercial, marketing, and performance decisions. This is a pure hunter role suited to someone with experience opening doors in FMCG and winning complex, high-value deals.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive net-new business across the FMCG landscape
- Prospect and engage consumer goods brands across food, beverage, and personal care
- Sell a data and insight-focused SaaS solution into commercial, category, and digital teams
- Build and maintain a high-quality sales pipeline
- Lead discovery sessions to understand commercial challenges and data needs
- Own the sales process from first contact through to close
- Deliver against new business targets
Required Experience
- Experience in a new business/hunter sales role (BDM or Account Executive)
- Proven success selling SaaS, software, or data platforms
- Experience selling into FMCG/CPG brands
- Strong outbound sales and pipeline generation capability
- Comfortable selling to senior stakeholders and decision-makers
Desirable Experience
- Experience selling analytics, BI, insight, or data-led solutions
- Understanding of FMCG commercial models, category management, or consumer insights
