Overview
Processing Administrator role at a well-known retail distributor. Location: Liverpool, Merseyside (outskirts of city centre). Salary: £28,228 per annum. Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30-17:00 (flexible time available). Contract: Permanent.
This is a vital role that ensures the processing department runs smoothly and offers key processing support to the Sales and Surveying department. The main responsibility will be to collate information from the Processing, Sales and Surveying departments and ensure that measurements for specific orders and parts are correct before the items move to manufacturing.
Responsibilities
- Collate information from the Processing, Sales and Surveying departments and ensure measurements for specific orders and parts are correct before it goes to manufacturing.
- Input all collated information into the company system to prepare paperwork for the purchasing and manufacturing departments.
- Work with correct numbers and measurements on all orders and parts.
- Ensure regular updating of paperwork and that changes are implemented in the system and relayed to the relevant departments.
- Build rapport and maintain up-to-date knowledge of items and products to ensure key relationships with other departments.
Person Specification / Qualifications
- A-Level in Mathematics; desirable to have a relevant Mathematics degree due to the measurements and numbers element of the role.
- Experience in a similar process/design/sales administrative role.
- Competent in Microsoft Office packages (Word, Excel) and other databases.
- Ability to prioritise effectively and manage multiple time-critical tasks.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Confident communicator, both verbally and in writing.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment and meeting deadlines.
