We're looking for a Commercial Associate who knows how to turn relationships into revenue and has proven R&D Tax sales experience.
This is not a role for someone looking to learn R&D Tax sales from scratch.

You already understand the R&D Tax market, know how to open doors, build relationships and win business - and can hit the ground running.
What's on offer?
- £50,000-£60,000 basic salary, depending on experience
- £100,000+ OTE achievable
- 5% commission on signed business
- Recurring commission structure
- Additional bonus opportunities once targets are hit
- Clear progression through to Senior Commercial Associate and Partner
- City of London office
- Monday-Friday, office-based
What will you actually be doing?
This isn't a role where you're expected to sit behind a screen waiting for leads to land.
You'll be:
- Building and managing a network of introducers and referral partners
- Developing relationships with CFOs, Finance Directors and senior stakeholders
- Generating new business through your existing contacts and professional network
- Identifying opportunities within the R&D Tax and incentives market
- Taking opportunities from initial conversation through to signed business
- Building a pipeline and delivering against commercial targets
- Creating relationships that generate repeat and referred business
Who are we looking for?
R&D Tax sales experience is a MUST for this role.
We're ideally looking for someone with 3-4 years' experience in R&D Tax sales, with a proven record of generating and winning business.
You’ll be particularly well suited if you have relationships across:
Accountancy firms | CFOs | Finance Directors | Commercial Finance | Introducers | Referral Partners
We’re looking for someone who already has a strong understanding of R&D Tax sales, understands how to identify opportunities and can demonstrate a track record of converting relationships into revenue.
Your R&D Tax sales experience, network, relationships and ability to generate revenue are what really count.

The progression route is:
Commercial Executive → Senior Commercial Executive → Commercial Associate → Senior Commercial Associate → Partner
There is already a proven example of someone progressing from graduate level through to Partner in just four years.
