This isn’t about managing an existing channel. This is about building the Amazon business from the ground up. I’ve partnered with a fast-growing UK wellness brand operating across the UK and US to hire a Marketplace Manager. Amazon, Walmart, GoPuff, and Faire are already part of the mix - but they now want someone who has the experience to take Amazon seriously and scale it properly. This is a role for someone who has been there and done it. Someone who has the t-shirt.
What you’ll actually be doing:
- Own and build the Amazon channel from the ground up - strategy, execution, and growth
- Take full ownership of the P&L and revenue targets across all marketplace platforms
- Build and optimise product listings - copy, imagery, A+ content, SEO
- Develop and execute marketplace advertising strategies (Amazon PPC, Sponsored Products, DSP)
- Manage inventory, replenishment, and fulfilment performance
- Analyse sales data, trends, and competitor activity to drive decisions
- Identify and launch into new marketplace opportunities
- Work cross‑functionally with supply chain, creative, and finance teams
Why this role stands out:
- Most marketplace roles optimise what’s already there. This doesn’t.
- Build and scale a channel from scratch
- Own the commercial performance end‑to‑end
- Have real autonomy and accountability from day one
This is a business built on extreme ownership - no passengers, no silos, no waiting for sign‑off. The culture is built around being together. Not just for collaboration, but because strong marketplace performance comes from:
- Deep alignment across supply chain, creative, and trading
- Fast decision‑making
- Constant testing, learning, and optimisation
If you want a remote role, this isn’t it. If you want to build something properly and be in the room while it happens - this is.
What they’re looking for:
- Proven experience building and scaling Amazon (Seller/Vendor Central) - this is essential
- Strong understanding of Amazon PPC and marketplace advertising
- Commercial mindset with P&L ownership experience
- Highly analytical and data‑driven
- Experience within FMCG, wellness, beauty, or consumer goods
- Comfortable operating in a fast‑paced, high‑ownership environment
- Someone who has built it before - not just supported it
The important bits:
- £50,000 - £70,000
- Camden (5 days onsite)
- Fast‑growing wellness brand
- Build and own the Amazon channel from scratch
- Reporting into founders
