Overview
Permanent job: Business Development & Training Lead. Salary £30,000 to £35,000 depending on experience plus commission. Location: North Manchester with great links to M60/M62 and free car parking onsite. Hours: Monday to Friday, 7.30am to 3.30pm (35 hour week). Office based and client based. Travel is essential and you must have access to your own car with business insurance.
This role supports a training provider that is experiencing growth, with a focus on expanding offering through consultative sales and relationship building with clients predominantly in the education sector but covering all industries. You will promote services on a national basis and help grow the client base.
Responsibilities
- Follow leads, call new prospects, book meetings, attend meetings, close deals
- Deliver training where required and implement new processes within a brand-new role
- Manage a national travel schedule and your own diary to meet clients
- Build rapport with clients and stakeholders to develop long-term relationships
- Develop and promote the company’s services and offerings to increase the client base
Qualifications
- Proven track record in sales (industry experience preferred)
- Experience delivering training is ideal but not essential; willingness to learn and develop in this area
- Flexibility to travel nationally and manage your own diary
- Access to your own vehicle with business insurance
- Willingness to undertake an enhanced DBS check and social media check
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
