The Opportunity

We're partnering with a rapidly growing, data-driven organisation looking to hire a Marketing Analytics & Performance Specialist to play a key role in shaping marketing effectiveness and driving commercial decision-making. This is an exciting opportunity for you to go beyond reporting, translating complex data into clear, compelling insights that directly influence strategy, budget, and performance.

The Role

You'll act as a central point of truth for marketing performance, connecting multiple data sources to provide a clear view of ROI and customer behaviour. Alongside strong technical capability, communication and stakeholder engagement are critical to success in this role. You'll be expected to confidently present insights, challenge thinking, and influence decisions across the business.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Building and maintaining automated dashboards and reporting solutions (Power BI / Looker / similar)
  • Analysing marketing campaign performance across channels to identify trends and optimisation opportunities
  • Developing a clear view of the customer journey, from first touchpoint through to conversion
  • Measuring true commercial impact (ROI, CPA, revenue), moving beyond vanity metrics
  • Translating complex data into clear, easy-to-understand insights for non-technical stakeholders
  • Working closely with teams across marketing, digital, product, and leadership to influence strategy and decision-making
  • Proactively identifying issues or opportunities and communicating recommendations with confidence
  • Supporting tracking implementation and ensuring data accuracy and integrity

What We're Looking For:

  • Strong background in digital or marketing analytics
  • Proven experience working with GA4 (or similar web analytics tools)
  • Experience with data visualisation tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker Studio)
  • Demonstrable ability to translate data into clear, actionable business insights
  • Proven experience engaging with stakeholders and presenting to non-technical audiences
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills - able to simplify complex data
  • Confident working with and influencing senior stakeholders
  • Ability to challenge and guide decision-making using data
  • Strong commercial awareness and understanding of performance metrics and ROI
  • Comfortable working with SQL or large datasets
  • Experience connecting multiple data sources (e.g. web, CRM, campaign data)
  • Exposure to tracking, tagging, or data layer frameworks
