This is an established marine business with over 30 years' experience across boat sales, brokerage, charter and on-water experiences, originally founded in Abersoch.
As part of its next phase of growth, the business is opening a new operation at Noss on Dart Marina, Dartmouth, supported by an experienced back-office and technical team based in Abersoch, alongside a satellite office in Southampton. The Dartmouth operation will be developed in a phased and sustainable way, with staffing and services expanding as demand grows.
We are seeking a hands-on, commercially minded Boat Sales & Operations Lead to run day-to-day activity at the Dartmouth site during its initial phase. This is a broad, practical role suited to someone who enjoys variety, ownership and being close to both customers and boats. You will act as the main on-site representative, supported remotely by an established central team.
Key Responsibilities- Act as the primary on-site presence at Noss on Dart Marina
- Handle enquiries across new boat sales, brokerage, charter, Boat Club and FLITE eFoil
- Manage customer communication, quotations, bookings and follow-up
- Maintain CRM and sales records
- Liaise with marina staff, brands and commercial partners
- Support and progress new boat sales, including Navan Boats (UK dealer) and Italboats
- Assist with brokerage listings, viewings and sales progression
- Act as the on-site point of contact for FLITE eFoil experiences and product enquiries
- Coordinate demonstrations, sea trials and customer handovers
- Support on-water demonstrations and handovers
- Assist with charter and Boat Club coordination
- Oversee vessel presentation and readiness on site
- Coordinate visiting technical and PDI support from the central team
- Help build local awareness of the Dartmouth operation
- Support growth across Boat Club, charter and FLITE eFoil experiences
- Provide feedback to inform future staffing and operational planning
This role is hands-on, customer-facing, varied and entrepreneurial in nature. It is not a marina management role, a large-team leadership position (initially), or a purely desk-based sales role. The scope and seniority are expected to grow as the operation develops.
Skills & Experience- Background in marine, boating, brokerage, charter, marina or leisure sectors
- Comfortable dealing directly with customers and closing sales
- Practical understanding of boats and on-water activity
- Interest in premium on-water experiences such as eFoiling
- Organised, self-motivated and commercially aware
Up to Β£50,000 base salary (depending on experience). Commission on qualifying sales activity (boats, brokerage, FLITE, etc.). Support from an experienced back-office and technical team. Opportunity to grow the role as the Dartmouth operation expands.
Why JoinAn opportunity to take ownership of a new location for a long-established marine business, work with exciting premium brands, and combine boat sales, brokerage and on-water experiences while shaping a role that grows alongside the business.
