We're recruiting for a Commercial Manager to join a successful events business with an established portfolio of exhibitions. This is an opportunity to take ownership of revenue generation across exhibition stand sales, sponsorship, and digital products, working with clients from initial contact through to long-term partnership. If you enjoy building relationships, winning new business, and managing key accounts, this role offers plenty of scope to make an impact while working with a supportive commercial team.
The Role
- Drive revenue through exhibition stand, sponsorship, and digital sales.
- Identify and convert new business opportunities.
- Grow and develop existing customer accounts.
- Manage the full sales process from prospecting through to negotiation and closing.
- Build long-term relationships with exhibitors, sponsors, and key stakeholders.
- Produce tailored commercial proposals to meet client objectives.
- Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and revenue forecast.
- Deliver excellent customer service throughout the event cycle.
- Attend exhibitions to support clients and maximise re-bookings.
- Consistently achieve sales targets and commercial KPIs.
About You
You'll have a proven background in B2B sales and enjoy working in a target-driven commercial environment. You'll ideally bring:
- Experience in exhibitions, events, sponsorship, media, advertising, or another consultative B2B sales environment.
- A successful track record of winning new business and developing existing accounts.
- Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.
- Confidence managing multiple opportunities and prioritising your workload.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- A proactive approach to identifying and converting commercial opportunities.
