The Aspire Training Team are currently recruiting for a punctual, reliable and enthusiastic individual to complete an Early Years Team Leader Level 3 Apprenticeship at Pine Rivers Kindergarten, Reading.

Pine Rivers Kindergarten is a nursery and playgroup in Reading, Berkshire. We have a huge amount of experience providing outstanding childcare and educational solutions. Our premises are large, airy and ideal for children to move around safely and develop their spatial awareness. With specified areas for children of different age groups, children can make friends their own age while learning and playing.

We treat each child as an individual, tailoring our approach to their needs and yours. All children from the ages of three months to eight years of age are applicable, and they will engage in planned-out activities that stimulate them, learn in a relaxed and free environment and play fun games that encourage cooperation and the development of social skills. Our extensive grounds are ideal for both learning and play, with grassed and decked spaces and even a collection of animals including birds and tortoises.

All staff we employ are DBS-checked, highly-qualified and dedicated, supporting your child's learning and keeping them safe whilst playing. We are a family business and have grown our reputation by establishing strong relationships with parents in the community, allowing them to play an integral role in their child's development at the nursery. With onsite Paediatric First Aid personnel and a five-star rating and reviews, we are the perfect choice.

Your duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Shape curriculum and guide the learning and development journey of children under your care.
  • Lead and manage the under twos room team, providing guidance, support and professional development.
  • Design and execute activities that align with EYFS framework.
  • Conduct regular safety checks and adhere to health and safety regulations.
  • Reinforce positive behaviour management strategies.
  • Look after key children.
  • Foster relationships with parents.
  • Promote safeguarding and welfare of children.

Hours: Pine Rivers is open from 8.00am – 18:00pm. The successful candidate will be required to work 40 hours per week.

Requirements:

  • Level 3 Childcare Qualification is essential when applying for this role.
  • You must be able to gain a clear DBS.
  • Have GCSE grades A*-C or 4-9 in Maths and English Language, or equivalent.
