Level 3 Childcare Apprenticeship – Wind in the Willows Pre-school

Shoots Training are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and hardworking individual to complete their Level 3 Childcare Apprenticeship at Wind in the Willows Preschool

We are a family run business within the heart of Amesbury’s community. With over 40 years’ experience we offer the opportunities for all children to become individual learners within their environment

We provide care for children aged 3 months to 11 years. Our dedicated staff are highly qualified and offer an exceptional provision for your children to learn and grow.

Here at Wind in the Willows Preschool Ltd your experience matters.

We have 4 rooms and can have a maximum of 60 Children

Also have dogs, rabbits and guinea pigs for the children to enjoy in our large garden area

Your duties and responsibilities will include;

  • Working as part of a team, supporting the children and taking care of all of their needs including all aspects of personal care.
  • Planning the day’s activities, would eventually develop into the role as a key person, responsible for children’s next steps, safeguarding requirements liaise with team leaders, staff and senior team member for wellbeing of the children, liaise and feedback with them on daily basis, undertaking regular supervisions, supporting the running of the room.
  • Must have a good understanding of the EYFS and be a good communicator as will be liaising with parents.
  • Requirements;

  • Level 2 Childcare Qualification is required
  • 1 year experience is desirable
  • You must be able to gain a clear DBS
  • Preferably have GCSE grades A*-C or 4-9 in Maths and English Language, or equivalent
  • Hours;

  • Wind in the Willows is open Term Time Only from 07.30am – 18:00pm Monday to Friday
  • The successful candidate will be required to work a minimum of 30 hours per week
