Level 3 Childcare Apprenticeship – Bright Beginnings Nursery.

The Aspire Training Team are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and hardworking individual to complete their Level 3 Childcare Apprenticeship at Bright Beginning Nursery.

At the nursery we strive to support children’s development so that they may grow to be strong, independent individuals based on loving and secure relationships. The children in our care are all valued as individuals and each is an important member of Bright Beginnings Nursery. We provide a family atmosphere where they can learn through play in a safe, fun and caring environment.

The nursery is surrounded by a large garden which is completely enclosed with fencing providing a safe area for children to play in. There is a giant sand pit, a meadow trail, a vegetable patch, large attractive trees for shade with seating, a range of outdoor toys including painting, water play and numerous activities that are sometimes associated more with the indoors e.g. home corner, dressing up and even a reading area complete with log seats.

Your roles and responsibilities will include;

  • All aspects of childcare, you will get support from senior practitioners and the leadership team there in the setting
  • You will be supporting key members of the team with all aspects of caring for small children
  • You will be involved in planning activities, implementing these and setting up the room and the daily tasks
  • You will assist meal times and all aspects of personal care including toileting and nappy changing
  • Must be good communicator as will be liaising with parents, and will be required to complete the children’s learning journals after 6 months
  • Requirements;

  • Level 2 Childcare Qualification is desired
  • You must be able to gain a clear DBS
  • Have GCSE grades A*-C or 4-9 in Maths and English Language, or equivalent
  • Must have a good understanding about Safeguarding and keeping the children safe
  • Hours;

  • Bright Beginnings Nursery is open from 07:45-18:00 Monday to Friday
  • The successful candidate will be required to work a minimum of 30 hours per week, with shift patterns to be discussed
