Our mission: To deliver technology like no other!

We look for dynamic individuals who embrace technology, think differently, collaborate as team players, and are driven by continuous improvement with a focus on great results for our customers.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced values-led People Development Partner to shape and deliver a best-in-class learning and development agenda that enables colleagues to thrive and supports Aspire’s strategic goals. The role leads our employability and wider people-related ESG initiatives, playing a key part in embedding social value. It spans early careers, including the development of our apprentices, through to leadership development, with colleague wellbeing embedded throughout.

Reporting to the Head of People, you will provide expert organisational development leadership, deliver high-impact learning initiatives and coaching translated into meaningful and measurable outcomes. You will work closely with senior leaders, line managers, technical teams and central functions to ensure a strong colleague experience and foster our learning culture that drives high-performing, customer-focused teams.

What you will be doing

  • Design and deliver engaging blended learning programmes, incorporating in-person workshops, coaching and eLearning across our academies:
  • Aspire Leadership Academy (values-driven): Supporting managers and leaders with the skills, capability and confidence to deliver a great people experience, enabling high performance and supporting our growth plans.
  • Aspire Apprentice Academy (early careers): Developing early careers talent and building our future workforce pipeline, with a focus on essential skills to support successful progression and long-term career development.
  • Aspire Sales Academy (newly launched): Supporting the development of talent within our Sales pathway and strengthening capability across the function.
  • Aspire Induction Programme: Overseeing a consistent and engaging onboarding experience, ensuring new colleagues receive a strong introduction to the Aspire journey.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to managers on team development and colleagues professional development plans and career conversations.
  • Partner with external organisations to support employability and broader People ESG initiatives, delivering measurable social value while also strengthening the early careers talent pipeline.
  • Partner with our Technical Trainer in delivering engaging training and mentoring that effectively achieves the desired learning outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate training records and partner with our Compliance Officer to ensure all compliance training is aligned with the Aspire L&D brand.
  • You will suit the role if you have:

    • Proven and demonstrable experience in creating and delivering impactful learning programmes in a multi-site business, with strong skills in facilitation, coaching and presenting to a range of audiences.
    • Strong relationship-building, stakeholder management and communication skills with the credibility to influence and support colleagues at all levels.
    • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to take action.
    • Excellent time management, planning and organisational skills to manage and prioritise tasks in order to manage a diverse workload and deliver at pace.
    • CIPD level 5 qualification or equivalent L&D experience.
    • Curious and a passion for technology.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking People team that is shaping innovative people practices. The team operates as a strategic partner to the business while remaining hands-on in its delivery, so this role would suit someone who enjoys both shaping our L&D agenda whilst getting into the detail to make things happen.
