You will be doing: As a technical, experienced and energetic Team Leader, you'll play a key part in driving our ongoing success by ensuring exceptional end-user experiences. You'll lead efforts to efficiently manage support tickets while proactively reducing demand through effective root cause analysis. You will be driven and have great leadership skills and will enjoy taking control of situations. You will be comfortable developing a team of end user engineers with a range of skillsets and technical knowledge empowering them to perform at their best.
Experience working with Modern Workplace technology such as: InTune, Mobile Device Management, Azure, and IT infrastructure including Active Directory permissions, security, desktops, firewalls, and peripheral equipment such as printers and mobile devices will be essential for this role.
Responsibilities:
- Supervising, mentoring and developing a team of Modern Workplace Engineers.
- Building and tracking personal development plans for team members.
- Identifying and managing talent.
- Setting business, departmental and personal objectives.
- Identifying and addressing risk and underperformance and inefficiencies.
- Understanding and managing demand and capacity/resource.
- Ensuring quality standards are met and improving where required.
- Develop communication and collaboration with colleagues and customers within the team.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with your team, our customers and the wider business.
You will suit the role if you have:
- Demonstrable knowledge or experience in Technical Support, Service Desk and/or IT Team Leader roles.
- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills in order to act as an escalation point for Engineers.
- Excellent ability to collaborate with colleagues and customers at all levels.
- Excellent time management, planning and organisational skills to manage and prioritise own tasks and service desk issues in order to manage a diverse workload, exceed customer expectations and deliver results within agreed SLAs.
- Timely reporting of progress on service desk issues and proactive management of escalations.
- Experience in root cause/trend analysis to reduce demand and improve customer experience.
- Microsoft 365 Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate (MD-102) and/or Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert are desirable, but not required.
This is a great opportunity to build on your technical skillset. Ideally, you'll have a previous working knowledge of the following: Microsoft 365, InTune (Mobile Device Management), Windows Operating Systems (including Server), Active Directory, Printers, Remote Desktop Services and any experience with the Apple product stack (Apple Business Manager) would be beneficial.

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Location and Working Arrangements: You will be based at Aspire's Gateshead Head Office, with travel as required.
Hours of Work: Full time (37.5 hours per week), Monday to Friday
