Overall job purpose: To provide operational support to the Assessments Team during a busy examination period, contributing to the smooth delivery of live exams, preparation activities, and associated administrative processes within a higher education setting.
Key responsibilities:
- Invigilate live, in-person examinations, ensuring all procedures are followed and supporting a fair and well-managed exam environment.
- Print, prepare, and organise examination materials in advance of scheduled assessments.
- Assist with general exam preparation tasks, responding to shifting priorities during the peak May exam period.
- Support elements of data processing related to assessments, maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
- Work flexibly across the team, stepping into tasks as required to meet tight deadlines and operational demands.
- Attend campus on specific days as needed for exam invigilation or other in-person duties.
Candidate requirements:
- Strong attention to detail, particularly when handling data and exam-related documentation.
- Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing priorities during a high-pressure period.
- Reliable, proactive, and comfortable supporting a range of operational tasks.
- Confident working both independently and as part of a busy team.
- Available to work on campus 3-4 days per week, with additional on-site attendance when required for exam duties.
