We are recruiting on behalf of a long-established, family-run meat distribution business seeking experienced and reliable
HGV Class 1 (CE) and Class 2 (Category C) Drivers
to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for professional drivers looking for stable, permanent employment with excellent earning potential. The role involves nationwide deliveries of meat products, including carcass meat, requiring a good level of physical fitness and a strong commitment to health, safety, and customer service standards. Key Responsibilities
Safely operate Class 1 or Class 2 vehicles on nationwide delivery routes Load and unload meat carcass products where required Complete deliveries efficiently and in line with scheduled times Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects Maintain vehicle cleanliness and roadworthiness Complete all delivery documentation accurately and on time Provide excellent customer service when delivering to customers nationwide Adhere to all transport legislation, driver hours regulations, and company procedures Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times Support the wider transport operation as required What We're Looking For
Valid
HGV Class 1 (CE)
or
Class 2 (Category C)
licence Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card Minimum 12 months' HGV driving experience preferred Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling duties Flexible approach to early starts and nationwide routes Excellent understanding of driver hours and transport compliance Strong communication and customer service skills Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently Positive attitude and professional appearance Salary & Benefits
