National Apprenticeship Sales Manager Up to Β£50,000 per annum Head Office – Manchester (with National Travel) Full Time β Permanent Role Purpose: Weβre recruiting for a motivated and strategic National Apprenticeship Sales Manager to lead and deliver the apprenticeship and training sales strategy for a leading education and skills provider. This is a key role focused on driving apprenticeship revenue growth, building strong employer partnerships, and supporting sector development across a national footprint. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and executing targeted sales plans, building high-value relationships with large employers, and working closely with internal teams to deliver tailored workforce solutions. Youβll play a central role in hitting ambitious apprenticeship targets, spotting commercial opportunities, and influencing growth across priority sectors. Duties: Develop and implement sector-led sales and growth plans aligned with business strategy Achieve a personal target of 180 apprenticeship starts annually, contributing to wider national targets Build and maintain strong relationships with large employers, clients, and strategic delivery partners Manage CRM and sales pipelines effectively for accurate forecasting and reporting Lead performance reviews across delivery teams, ensuring alignment with targets, budgets, and quality expectations Carry out business diagnostics and develop tailored action plans for clients Monitor economic and policy developments to identify and act on new opportunities Collaborate across departments to ensure high-quality client service and maximise valueRequired Skills & Experience: Proven track record of apprenticeship sales (essential) β with demonstrable success in winning and growing apprenticeship business with large employers Extensive experience in senior-level B2B sales, business development or account management Ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders across complex organisations Strong understanding of apprenticeships and the wider skills sector Skilled in using CRM systems and reporting tools for pipeline and performance management Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills Strong commercial acumen and the ability to develop strategic growth plans Confident managing cross-functional projects and working collaboratively across teams Willingness to travel nationally with a full UK driving licence Due to the nature of this role, you will need to have access to your own vehicle, and you will undertake an enhanced DBS if successful in the role.
