A full-time, temporary 3-month contract opportunity has arisen for an experienced Medical Secretary to join our central administration team. Our team provides administrative support across three medical practices, with the role based fully onsite at the practice.
Position Details
- Contract: Temporary 3 months (could be extending)
- Hours: Full time, 37.5 hours per week
- Pay: £12.60ph - £13.63ph
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm
- Breaks: 1-hour lunch break, two 10-minute breaks
- Location: Manchester
Essential Requirements
- Proven experience as a Medical Secretary or Audio Typist
- Strong audio typing skills
- Proficient in EMIS and Gateway
- Ideally have an active Smartcard
- Ideally holds an active NHS email address
About the Role
The successful candidate will support a busy central admin team, ensuring efficient secretarial and administrative services across multiple GP practices. This is a fully onsite role requiring excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work confidently within a clinical administrative environment. Candidates with Audio Typing experience from other sectors will also be considered.
