Wellbeing Key Worker Liverpool Up to £30,000 per annum Full-time, Permanent Job Description: An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Wellbeing Key Worker to join a specialist team delivering personalised wellbeing support across Liverpool. This role focuses on supporting individuals to make sustainable lifestyle changes that improve their health, wellbeing and future prospects. Working with individuals within the criminal justice system, including those on probation or recently released from custody, you will play a crucial role in supporting rehabilitation, reducing reoffending, and helping people progress into employment, education and training. You’ll deliver tailored interventions through a mixture of one-to-one sessions, group workshops and digital engagement, ensuring each individual receives the support they need to achieve positive outcomes. The role involves: Managing a caseload of service users, ensuring delivery against agreed targets Delivering personalised wellbeing support based on individual needs and complexity Completing comprehensive assessments, including screening for LDD Developing high-quality, strength-based action plans with service users Delivering support through one-to-one sessions, group workshops and digital platforms Building strong relationships with local services to enable effective signposting and partnership working Planning, delivering and evaluating group sessions tailored to client needs Ensuring compliance with contractual requirements and maintaining accurate records Participating in observations, reflective practice and continuous professional development Supporting individuals within probation settings to engage with rehabilitation programmes and improve wellbeingYou’ll need: Experience of delivering wellbeing interventions and achieving positive outcomes, ideally within a criminal justice setting Experience managing a caseload and working within a target-driven environment Ability to deliver engaging one-to-one and group-based support sessions Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships Experience developing strength-based action plans Knowledge of local health and wellbeing services across statutory and community sectors Understanding of quality and compliance within justice-based services Confidence using digital platforms to deliver services A commitment to continuous professional development and reflective practiceDesirable: Counselling skills or relevant health-related qualifications Substance Misuse Awareness Level 3 Mental Health First Aid and/or Suicide Awareness training Experience supporting individuals affected by domestic abuse Knowledge of motivational interviewing or asset-based approaches Due to the nature of this role, you will be required to complete an online Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
