Are you an experienced Ledger Clerk with a background in property or housing? We’re looking for someone organised, accurate, and confident working in a fast-paced finance team supporting property management operations.

The Role

  • Processing purchase invoices (rents, service charges, maintenance, business rates)
  • Managing supplier payments and posting daily receipts
  • Reconciling bank, landlord, council, and supplier accounts
  • Chasing tenant arrears (service charges, ground rents, utilities)
  • Assisting with month-end tasks: accruals, journals, prepayments, reporting
  • Maintaining accurate data in SAGE and Excel
  • Liaising with landlords, agents, councils, tenants, and internal teams

What You’ll Bring

  • Strong finance experience — property sector experience highly desirable
  • Excellent Excel skills and familiarity with accounting software (SAGE preferred)
  • Knowledge of service charges, rents, leases, and property finance
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and strong communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage competing deadlines
  • AAT qualification is a bonus

This role is subject to a satisfactory driving licence check and satisfactory referencing.
