Are you an experienced Finance Assistant with a background in property or housing? We’re looking for someone organised, accurate, and confident working in a fast-paced finance team supporting property management operations.
The Role
- Processing purchase invoices (rents, service charges, maintenance, business rates)
- Managing supplier payments and posting daily receipts
- Reconciling bank, landlord, council, and supplier accounts
- Chasing tenant arrears (service charges, ground rents, utilities)
- Assisting with month-end tasks: accruals, journals, prepayments, reporting
- Maintaining accurate data in SAGE and Excel
- Liaising with landlords, agents, councils, tenants, and internal teams
What You’ll Bring
- Strong finance experience — property sector experience highly desirable
- Excellent Excel skills and familiarity with accounting software (SAGE preferred)
- Knowledge of service charges, rents, leases, and property finance
- High attention to detail, accuracy, and strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage competing deadlines
- AAT qualification is a bonus
This role is subject to a satisfactory driving licence check and satisfactory referencing.
