Are you an experienced administrator who enjoys keeping things organised, accurate and on track? We’re working on behalf of a well-established organisation to recruit an Estates Administrator to support a busy property and facilities team on a 6-month maternity cover contract. This is a great opportunity for someone who has strong administration experience and is used to working in a structured, deadline-driven environment. You may have worked within property, estates, finance, legal, medical, facilities or another regulated/compliance-led setting where accuracy, confidentiality and attention to detail are essential.
The role will be mostly remote after the initial onboarding period, although you will need to be able to attend the Manchester city centre office when required. You’ll be supporting the Estates Team with the day-to-day administration of a large UK property portfolio, helping to keep records accurate, deadlines monitored and key activity moving forward.
Duties will include:
- Maintaining and updating property and estates records, including lease information, compliance details, site documents and key contact information.
- Monitoring compliance schedules and helping to ensure important statutory and contractual deadlines are tracked and actioned.
- Supporting invoice processing, checking information, uploading documents and liaising with Finance regarding queries.
- Coordinating with internal teams and external suppliers to support the smooth delivery of estates and facilities activity.
- Assisting with property-related changes such as office moves, new premises onboarding and exit processes.
- Producing and maintaining accurate records, reports and data to support business requirements.
- Managing estate-related information across multiple systems.
- Responding to internal queries and providing a high standard of administrative support to the team.
This role would suit someone who is confident, organised and able to work independently in a busy environment.
You’ll need:
- Administration experience.
- Experience working in property, estates, facilities or a compliance-heavy environment would be highly beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Confidence liaising with people at all levels, both internally and externally.
- The ability to juggle a high volume of work across multiple sites, tasks and deadlines.
- A proactive, flexible and committed approach.
- Good IT skills and the ability to pick up new systems quickly.
This is a close, hardworking team, so we’re looking for someone who is happy to get stuck in, manage their workload and support the wider team where needed.
The benefits:
- Mostly remote working after initial onboarding.
- Manchester city centre office when required.
- Opportunity to gain experience within a busy estates/property function.
- Varied role supporting a large UK property portfolio.
- Potential for the contract to extend beyond the initial 6 months.
If you’re an experienced administrator looking for a varied fixed-term role where you can make an immediate impact, we’d love to hear from you.
