Salary: £41,000 per annum (Full Time, Permanent, 35 hours)

Location: Outskirts of Merseyside with great connections to Liverpool and Cheshire

Working Hours: Mon-Fri

We are currently recruiting for a Senior HR Officer to join a well-known Public Sector Organisation at their head office close to the Merseyside area on a permanent, full-time basis. Working in a HR team that consists of four people, you will be expected to support with all senior HR duties that include:

  • Recruitment and onboarding
  • Employment relations
  • Training alongside policies and procedures

Additional Responsibilities Include:

  • Reporting into the Head Of Human Resources and supporting with all HR functions and responsibilities
  • Holding responsibility for the maintenance of HR systems
  • Ensuring there is an accurate and timely production of all HR information
  • Offering advice and guidance to line managers in the effective implementation of HR policies and procedures
  • Ensuring welfare, employee relations, recruitment and selection, performance management and absence management are all managed to a quality and consistent standard throughout the business

Requirements:

  • Hold a CIPD Level 5 or above qualification or be qualified by experience
  • Significant experience working in a busy HR department
  • Knowledge of employment law
  • Desirable for the right candidate to have an understanding of Safeguarding and Health & Safety alongside a Level 4 or 5 qualification in Housing
